We human tend to forget things and needs to be reminded again and again.
That’s what one of the objectives of this course is – To remind you daily. To keep you on track.
So let’s start with today’s routine:
Technique 1 – D.O.T
1 Take a piece of paper and write down the oath given below. After writing the Oath, keep the piece of paper in your pocket.
“On the name of my Brother (or Sister), I take the oath that today I will not engage in the dirty habit of (porn, masturbation, smoking, alcohol, drug, over eating, laziness etc – write the name of habit you want to quit).O God! please give me enough strength to kill this ugly habit.”
2 Now speak this Oath aloud so that you can hear it. Repeat 5 times.
3 Now write in the LOG CHART also. You have to do twice daily. The log chart will help you to monitor your progress. And will keep you motivated.
Technique 2- Deep Breathing Technique
Take out your cell phone and set the timer for 5 minutes.
Sit in a quiet place and perform these five steps for five minutes:
1 Take a deep breath and count up to 20.
2 Hold the breath and count up to 20
3 Release the breath slowly and count up to 20 ( you have to release so slowly that it finishes at 20)
4 Don’t breath and count up to 20
5 Repeat steps 1-4 for five minutes
Technique 3 – Self-hypnosis (or meditation) with script
Here is a script for instant meditation. Try to immerse yourself in the script as vividly as you can. Use the power of your imagination. You will instantly feel relaxed, refreshed, energetic and happy. So read and imagine.
You are lying in a white, marble Jacuzzi full of lukewarm water. It is full of rose petals and there is rose essence in the water. You take a deep breath. the sweet scented aroma fills your nostrils and lungs and refreshes you.
You take some rose petals and crush them. You apply the petals juice on your face, skin and body. It soothes you and your soul.
You then splash water on your face. Lukewarm water is so soothing and makes your muscles and skin relaxed.
There is soft music of Mozart playing in the room. The music has healing power. It’s working on your brain and you are feeling fresh, energetic and full of life.
Near the Jacuzzi is a stool. On the stool there is a plate full of pineapple slices. You take a juicy slice and eats. It’s sweet and sour –the characteristic delicious flavour of pineapple. You relishes few more slices.
You then take the apple juice kept near you. The fruits and juices make your body cells and tissues rejuvenated and healthy. You enjoy your bath for one hour. You feel relaxed, refreshed, energetic and happy.
Note: Don’t use the script while working. The script may induce sleep or trance.
