Addictions are tough but with right techniques, frameworks and mindsets they can be kept in check.
We will be doing 4 core techniques daily:
1 Daily Oath Technique
2 Deep Breathing Technique (Instant Yoga)
3 Meditation with a script
4 Physical Exercise for 5 minutes (New one)

So let’s begin:
Technique 1 – D.O.T
1 Take a piece of paper and write down the oath given below. After writing the Oath, keep the piece of paper in your pocket.
“On the name of Jesus Christ (or any God), I take the oath that today I will not engage in the dirty habit of (porn, masturbation, smoking, alcohol, drug, over eating, laziness etc – write the name of habit you want to quit).O God! please give me enough strength to kill this ugly habit.”
2 Now speak this Oath aloud so that you can hear it. Repeat 5 times.
3 Now write in the LOG CHART also. You have to do twice daily. The log chart will help you to monitor your progress. And will keep you motivated.
Technique 2- Deep Breathing Technique
Take out your cell phone and set the timer for 5 minutes.
Sit in a quite place and perform these five steps for five minutes:
1 Take a deep breath and count up to 20.
2 Hold the breath and count up to 20
3 Release the breath slowly and count up to 20 ( you have to release so slowly that it finishes at 20)
4 Don’t breath and count up to 20
5 Repeat steps 1-4 for five minutes
Technique 3 – Self-hypnosis (or meditation) with script
Here is a script for instant meditation. Try to immerse yourself in the script as vividly as you can. Use the power of your imagination. You will instantly feel relaxed, refreshed, energetic and happy. So read and imagine.
Imagine you are walking through a forest. You are going towards a riverine. After some time you reach it. It’s a beautiful small river with shallow bank. There are four stools placed in the water. You sit on one of the stool. Water touches your feets and legs. You feel instantly relaxed.
You splash some water on your face. You feel refreshed. Cool and fresh breeze is blowing. You take deep breaths. The cool and aromatic air further rejuvenates you.
There are beautiful fishes in the water. They come to you. You give them some breads and fruits. They eat it. You play with these beautiful fishes and they reciprocate. You feel so much relaxed and refreshed with these little games with fishes.
The entire scenery at this riverine is beautiful and refreshing for your eyes. You spend enough time with beautiful nature and feel blessed.
Note: Don’t use the script while working. The script may induce sleep or trance.
Technique 4 – Physical Exercise For 5 minutes
Time for a new technique. This too is going to be your core technique and you have to stick to it daily.
The technique is simple but highly effective if done daily. You have to do any physical exercise for 5 minutes daily.
Again 5 minutes is the minimum limit. You may be thinking – why 5 minutes only. Well people join gym and quit after one week only. The main reason is they think it’s time consuming. But exercise need not be time consuming. You can do exercise in 5 -15 minutes too and stay fit.
5 minutes is a psychological trick to tell your subconcious brain that you are doing it for 5 minutes. Just 5 minutes. Thus it gets super-motivated immediately.
So do push-ups, jogging, any physical thing for 5 -15 minutes.
There is no upper limit. That is upto you. But main thing is do it daily.
